Fluid Logic
Fluid Logic LLC, located just outside of Portland, Oregon, is a specialty chemical manufacturer. Its two operating units, Fluid Logic and SilCo, share a state-of-the-art proprietary manufacturing facility in Gresham, Oregon.
Fluid Logic, specializes in the formulation and manufacture of grinding and fabrication fluids for specific applications involving brittle materials, or non-metal substrates. Its primary markets include coolants used in the production of electronic components based on ceramic and quartz substrates, flat glass, precision optics, ophthalmic lenses, specialty plastics and fiberglass.
Utilizing its proprietary low cost manufacturing process, SilCo produces nano scale high-purity colloidal silica. This process is predicated on a highly reproducible, statistically controlled production technique that yields a finished product characterized by ultra-low levels of metals and sulfur contamination and a consistent, narrow particle size distribution. Applications for Silco products include frictionizers for paper and bag manufacturers, optical coatings, catalysts, and silicon wafer polishing.
